movies are so overrated these days. idk how they can waste money on total crap. who funds them anyway? i heard about this movie called ‘the human centipede’ where this disturbed doctor connects 3 people into a human centipede. where do these ideas come from? why is that even entertainment?
and i dont like the way they advertise movies too. give away the whole plot why dont you? all that’s left is movie time to gawk at whoever goodlooking actor/actress they got on board. if the whole plot is thin and already given away, the whole appeal is how good looking the actors are. how else could someone stand to spend money and/or time to sit through a movie.
Prince of Persia i felt, didnt really have anything fresh. cliche after cliche after cliche. it had action and adventure but it was not exciting. the princess was beautiful but so annoying too. there was one minor twist, but everything was predictable and not much character development. i mean i know you can get away with saying ‘it’s just a movie’ and yes it is, but it’s just so generic. i couldve seen this on a lazy summer day at home instead of paying ticket price for it.
still, i can’t finish this without saying Gyllenhaal did almost pull it all together; he’s a talented actor and could be the only thing i liked about this movie.
